While we like to keep them at a minimum, we do have a few policies to share with you.
As a small, family owned Bed and Breakfast, cancellations affect us significantly. Please keep this in mind as you make your reservation. Our Cancellation Policy is as follows:
At the time of booking, you will be charged a deposit of $25.00. This will not be refunded if your reservation is cancelled.
If your cancellation is less than 14 days from your arrival date, you will be charged for the full stay unless we can rebook the room.
If you are charged for a canceled reservation, a subsequent stay within a 60 day period will be at a 20% discount.
Yes, we allow - and enjoy - children. We do request they be properly supervised and well behaved. Remember, many of our guests are here to get away and have left their children at home! Our preference is that small children stay in the Carriage House so their “sleeping habits” do not disturb others.
We take pets! Hooray! We must, however, restrict them to the Carriage House. We do charge an extra $35.00 per pet (not per night, rather for the full length of your stay.) We do have a dog – and cat - on the premises, so we ask your pets themselves be pet-friendly. If left in your room alone, we require your pet be crated, and it would be great if you brought bed(s) with you. Other than that, we just request you be a socially conscious pet-owner.
Arrival, Departure, Minimum Stays, Special Dietary Requirements
If you stay a Saturday, there is a 2 night minimum. If the room is not booked the Wednesday before your Saturday stay, we will waive the minimum. Rooms in the Carriage House always require a 2 night minimum, although we will waive this for a $50.00 premium.
Check-in: 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
Earlier or later times can be accommodated with prior arrangements; if you do not arrive as scheduled or between 4-6:00 p.m., you will find your keys and a welcome note in our convenient drop box.
We do our best to honor special dietary requirements. Just let us know your needs.
Renting the Entire Inn
We have frequent requests to rent the entire Inn, or to “save” the Inn for your wedding guests. There are several ways we accommodate your request.
Book the Inn under name, provide us with a credit card and guarantee payment. This is the preferred method.
Book the Inn under your name, tell us the name(s) of your guests or how to identify them, have them call to make their reservation. We will release any unbooked room(s) 30 days prior to your event unless you choose to guarantee payment. There is a $100 charge for this service.
Provide a link to our website on your event site, have your guests make their reservations.
A couple of things around renting the Inn. You are renting rooms as a guest of the Inn. The same occupancy limits apply, as do rules around pets and children. Access to our kitchen is not included, nor does it include access to our grounds for your event or non-guests. Please see our “Special Events” page if that is your plan.
We are a smoke free environment. Smoking in your room or any Inn building will incur an additional charge of $250.00.
